2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, on servers located in Germany (EU). When you access the site, the hosting provider automatically processes information your browser transmits (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type). This data serves the technical provision and security of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is not combined with other data sources. Log data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose it was collected for. A data-processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.

3. Content delivery / Cloudflare

Access to this website is currently routed through the network of Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), which acts as a content delivery network, reverse proxy and protection against attacks (incl. DDoS); the TLS connection terminates at Cloudflare's edge servers. In doing so, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection and request data (including the IP address, timestamp, and requested resource) on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the provision and security of the website). Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the EU Standard Contractual Clauses additionally apply under the Cloudflare data-processing agreement as a transfer mechanism for any processing in the USA.

4. Waitlist and newsletter sign-up

When you join the waitlist or subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address - and, if you provide them voluntarily, your name, company, role and your interest in an architecture briefing - to inform you about the availability of the product preview or to send you the newsletter. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), obtained via double opt-in: after signing up you receive a confirmation email and are only added to the list once you click the link in it.

Sign-up data is stored in a self-hosted listmonk instance on the German (EU) server named under section 2; it is not shared with third parties. To deliver the confirmation and newsletter emails, we use Brevo SAS, 106 Boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France, as our email delivery provider (SMTP relay); Brevo processes the email address and message content on our behalf under a data-processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

We keep your data until you withdraw your consent. You may unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email, or withdraw your consent by email to [email protected]; your data will then be deleted.

5. No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no analytics or tracking cookies and embeds no marketing services. Fonts are served locally from our server, not from Google Fonts or similar. Technically necessary cookies may be set by the service named under section 3.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Independent State Centre for Data Protection Schleswig-Holstein (ULD), Holstenstraße 98, 24103 Kiel.
